"Don't talk to her. She's crazy! She's a philosopher."
The class laughed as I smiled.
The professor looked at me. I caught on to his sarcasm and later to the truth. The compliment was a great one. Inquisitive minds are the ones who are constantly thirsty and are quenched with knowledge. It is a beautiful thing, perceptive as all the world around us; to read, to interpret, to learn, to grow, to put forth the know and to become wise.
Wisdom is not something you learn but something you procure.
Wisdom = knowledge x inquisition / time
I am ever so grateful for being attentive and for my curiosity, not just in class but overall in life. In a reckless abundance, perhaps thought and curiousness may lead to us the the edge of a steep fall where we find we know nothing and what now?
Curiosity is a trait of the genius and is to be paired with the imagination. There's an infinite array of ideas, inventions, innovations which are instilled into the universe that have yet to be discovered.
I dare you to look beyond the norm and I dare you to be called crazy. Late at night, before you sleep and you think of all you've thought, you'll be glad you've opened paths in your mind. You will be grateful for the neuroplasticity your brain has created. It is beautiful to witness, when you open up your minds eye and absorb all that is around you without fussing or fighting it.
"Oh the places you'll go."
